About the Speaker

Damian LaCroix, past superintendent of 19 years (Howard-Suamico School District), is driven by a personal mission to inspire leaders and teams to unlock their full potential through purpose-driven coaching. With a distinguished career spanning 33 years, he has served students, staff, and families in various capacities including as a public education teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent of schools.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions, LaCroix was nominated by his peers as the 2017 Wisconsin Superintendent of the Year. During his remarkable 19-year tenure leading the Howard-Suamico School System, the district gained national acclaim for its innovative, compassionate, and creative approach to education, staff development, and community engagement.

Married for 32 years to his incredible friend Melissa, and proud father of four creative children in their 20s, LaCroix finds joy in exploring historical biographies, watching inspirational movies, embarking on remote hiking adventures, and enjoying warm fires on cold Green Bay nights. He actively volunteers in his church, is passionate about public speaking, and finds fulfillment in coaching executive leaders.

Currently, LaCroix is in the process of authoring a new book titled "Called to Serve: Lessons on Leadership, Life, and Love."
